A BRIEF OVERVIEW

Hello and thanks for being here! I’m Kristen, a wedding and branding photographer born, raised, and operating in New Jersey. I’m a huge foodie and lover of coffee, day trips, dogs, and wine. I prefer fall over summer and small towns over big cities. My clients are the heart and soul of what I do. Without them, I would not be a success. Whether you’re interested in an intimate backyard ceremony or full wedding day coverage, I am so excited and honored that you’re considering me as your photographer.

WHY I DO IT

When I began my career in photography, I chose portraiture as my niche because I loved capturing faces and expressions. Eventually I started providing wedding photography services for friends and some referred small clients, which sparked my passion for preserving the beautiful and organic emotion of a wedding day. Other than being totally obsessed with weddings and everything about them (the colors, the decor, the dancing, the FOOD), what made me realize how much I truly love wedding photography was the undeniable warmth I felt not only being present to capture the purest form of love and commitment, but the way my clients kept telling me how happy they were with their galleries and how much it meant to them. What’s more, seeing my work framed and hanging on the walls of the home you’ve built together is the icing on the cake for me. There’s truly nothing more rewarding.

I find myself tearing up as I edit my albums (see also: me discreetly drying my eyes as you recite your vows). Nothing compares to witnessing these vulnerable moments; the anticipation of a first look, a father’s face as he hands off his little girl to her soon-to-be-husband, the way a mother holds onto her son during their first dance, the candids and stolen glances of two people in love, and everything in between.

In short, weddings make my heart burst out of my chest, and because of this I never have to work a day in my life.

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. AN EASY EXPERIENCE: First of all, I already KNOW that you’re under a ton of stress. You are trusting a complete stranger with the most important day of your life. That’s huge, and I promise that you’re in the very best hands. Wedding planning can be excruciating when you don’t even know where to begin. Between juggling countless vendor options, to finding the perfect venue, to simply making the time to just enjoy being engaged… it can be overwhelming. I am here to help alleviate some of that pressure by being more than just your photographer, but your full support system and cheerleader from start to finish.

2. PLANNING & TIPS: Each investment includes my guidance and support (ask as many questions as you need), a personalized timeline of your day, and vendor recommendations.

3. SPEEDY DELIVERY: I know you’re eager to share these images and I’m excited to get them to you! You will receive a some teasers within a week and full album within 4-8 weeks. Your beautiful online gallery will be complete with hi-res and web-size downloads, a shareable link for family and friends, and the additional option to purchase high-quality prints available in a variety of sizes and paper options (wallet, 4x6, 5x7, 8x10, etc.) as well as specialty items (matte frames, canvas prints, calendars, hardcover books, magazines, ornaments, etc.) which will last a lifetime.

4. COMMUNICATION: E-mail me! I respond within hours, not days. We’ll schedule a video or phone call to see if I am a good fit and exactly what you’re looking for. My first priority is forming a connection with you. Next, you will receive a short e-mail questionnaire for you and your partner to fill out which will give me everything I need in order to properly quote you (every wedding and couple is different). Once you’re ready to move forward, we can get the ball rolling on the booking process (see below).

HOW TO BOOK ME

A 30% paid retainer and signed contract secures your date and gets you officially on my calendar. Once I receive this, I am fully committed to you.
