“I do not often contract photographers. Most of the photographers I’ve worked with are self-centered and controlling to a degree that leaves me counting the minutes until the over-priced session is over. Kristen is none of these things, and her service reflects an understanding of her art that I’ve never before imagined. Kristen insisted that we ‘just be ourselves’ and subsequently gave us very limited direction. As the session continued, she allowed us to become more familiar and friendly, and I found myself forgetting that we were touring with a contracted photographer at all. To say that Kristen changed my mind about photographers in general is an understatement. As the session came to a close, I found myself wishing that there was more time for more pictures! As far as quality goes, I would have gladly paid twice the amount that we were charged. Every time I look through the collection that she prepared for us, and revel in their evocative significance, I find myself wondering about Kristen’s gift in intuition as it applies to capturing those perfect moments, and presenting them with a sense of ‘timelessness’ that so many seek, but so few ever find.
